Property Description

The historic Evans home stands today as what may be the single most noteworthy renovation in Portland in the last decade! In 1910, architect Thomas Vigors set out to build the home of Robert and Marian Evans. Located in the middle of one of the most beautiful tree lined streets in Ladd's Addition, Vigors embraced the strengths of the arts and crafts movement when he designed what would become one of the most beautiful homes in all of southeast Portland. Over a century later, the current stewards, experienced in historic renovations, took on what would become a seven-figure, multi-year project that today reflects what is arguably one of the single most prolific century homes in our great city. From the 60" Lacanche range to the Armac Martin hardware, Calcutta surfaces and Waterworks fixtures, this home's finish palette has set a new bar. Designer details are applied across almost every inch of one of the most compelling layouts you will ever see. All 5000 plus square feet will have you entranced even before you set foot on the incredibly curated grounds that surround this home. Add to all of this a two car garage, updated mechanicals and an epic Ladd's location bookended by the Hawthorne and Division business districts and you get a property our greater community will talk about for years!
